On the Way is the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge.
Rain clouds on the way home on SRA1A in North East Florida I drove through torrential rain that fell only on the highway. The rain fell so fast that it could not drain from the roadway and visibility was nil. I didn’t dare stop entirely because the water would have entered the tailpipe. But when I arrived at the sandy dirt road that’s closer to my home, it was still entirely dry. A little of that cloud burst would have been welcome to pack the sand.

The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge for this week is: Early Bird
March a year ago saw a wet sunrise similar to this morning in April 2015.
North East Florida.

A brilliant sky blue seemed suspended, floating above the distant haze, as I approached the Amelia Island Bridge in February of 2014.
.
Rain has blurred the background of this image, shot from my back porch in May of 2014.
I wanted to capture the spill from a corner roof gutter, while allowing the heaviness of the rain to also be apparent.
