Newton’s third Law of Physics exemplifies, in my opinion,  how COMPETITION works to retain equilibrium through the exquisitely balanced tension of opposition.

In nature there is always COMPETITION that preserves a balance. There is also cooperation within species and between species. There are also symbiotic as well as parasitic relationships.  None of this can be called good or bad. All actions, reactions, and relationships affect all of us individually. There is no such stance as neutral in the natural world. All aspects of everything are interactive. Everything just is. We are all relatives.
AGUAS DA AMAZONIA — Uakti — Philip Glass
54min. 50sec.

AGUAS DA AMAZONIA (Spanish) = Waters of the Amazon

The legend of Uakti shows how perceived COMPETITION led to the jealous murder of a magical being. In the end, balance was achieved through Uakti sharing his gift with everyone.

Uakti is a Legend from a tribe Amazons (Uakti is from Brazil) Uakti had holes all over his body. When the wind went through the holes, an amazing sound could be heard, and it attracted every women. The men from the tribe killed Uakti and buried him. Where he was buried, palm trees grew, which wood was used by the tribe to make flutes that had the same sound as the wind passing through Uakti’s body.

With the free will that we all possess we can decide which side of the balance we choose for our lives.  Should too many choose to engage in COMPETITION to the bitter end, there will be nothing left of this world but a field of broken swords.
We, ourselves decide what is good and what is evil, relative to our desires and how we interpret what is important.
We choose what is worth fighting for.
Will there be peace when all of the swords are broken?

I love Tibetan throat singing, and was quite surprised to learn “The Quantum Enigma” was performed by a Dutch symphonic metal band Epica. How interesting the lines of musical genre has blurred and birth anew.

What if perception of past/present/future become one? Are these referential states of mind “transcendable”, can we drop conflict from our polarized reality equation? If all is one, then is purpose even necessary? Words with opposite meanings are Dead! Alive action is always immediate. That’s why music helps us transcend the mind, we’re so IN IT.

At times, the futility of competition helps point the way. Nicely done Bear.♥

    • Is purpose even necessary? PURPOSE was necessary last week 🙂 dunno about this week.
Can we drop conflict from … reality? Nope, not possible. Nothing can be dropped from reality.
Futility of competition? Depends on the arena:-) 🙂

Good morning, Maddie. The temperature has dropped! The dogs are happy.

Nothing can be dropped from reality… and yet our ideas of reality must be dropped. Human conflict arises from our collective mind, we each create our own reality.

        • Yes, we have happy dogs:-) Maybe, eventually. Personally, I am not quite through with this bit of constantly changing reality. Some of it, such as ticks, I’m, pretty sure that I did not think into being. Not me. Fascinating as they are, I didn’t make ’em. Nor mosquitoes. Nope.

There are a few other situational influences for which I do not claim responsibility. Actually, rainbows and stars are a little beyond my capabilities, too. Maybe I’ll learn how tomorrow, but it is beyond me today.

Every now and again, when it is convenient, there can be an ecstasy of Knowing, of Oneness, but it is not sustainable in my human body in this life, in our over-lapping reality.

I really don’t feel the need to drop my ideas of reality. My ideas are just an itsy tiny bitty unimportant speck of consciousness.

Do you feel it is necessary for you, yourself, to drop your own ideas of reality?

Well you don’t live in a void, it’s a shared reality, interconnected and interdependent. Ticks and mosquitoes as annoying as they are, are an important part of the food chain. They probably play a role we aren’t even aware of. Because they exist at all, that’s good enough for me! But then again I live in the city, there are no ticks and mosquitoes to speak of, haha.
Wherever appears in the realm of our reality means there’s a reason we are experiencing it. Don’t ask me why. 😉
So why not drop the itsy bitsy insignificant ideas we hold so dearly onto, and just allow the “greater” consciousness to flow in? Some call it trust, faith, intuition… I like witnessing the magic. 🙂
It’s not so much dropping the ideas, because the thought of dropping is an idea. Paradoxical yes, but possible. Our preconceptions seem to drop on their own accord if we don’t hold on to them too tightly. Perhaps our minds are more malleable than we think!
          Good night Bear♥

          • NYC does indeed have mosquitoes. West Nile, an encephalitis, made it’s first incursion into N. America via NYC, via mosquito vectors. There are many winter-over places for mosquitoes in urban areas. Yes they do fill a niche.

We hold onto? It is I, myself, who am the itsy bitsy insignificant, unimportant idea.

Perhaps it is projected assumptions that disguise what is being viewed? Perhaps even casting the universe into the shadow of personal concepts about what the limits of other’s experiences might or might not be?

            Bonjour Maddie

      • I WANT to, but cannot yet listen to anything due to storm interfering with net connection–I shall have to be patient. Eegads! I am lucky to even have managed to post in between sky-quakes.
I suspect some wars do have to be fought–though I think the ones regarding the mind are the ones often ‘missed’ by people. Mind control efforts don’t attract attention like Smart Bombs, drones and soldiers with guns do. Yet, apparently thought control is alive and well here in the states with the people who want ONLY the positive side of American history taught. Talk about denying reality. Oh girls and boys.

        • Some selections are long, so I wrote how long, inc case you don’t want to leave it going in the background. Aguas Amazonia is almost an hour, for example. As is Shostakovitch .

There have been several solar storms lately, not only our Earthly atmospheric storms. Mucks with satellite reception.

How fortunate are we to even have a positive side?

          • Keep reminding me that there is a positive side. I keep losing sight of that side of things. As my post probably indicates to some degree.

I noticed that you had posted the time lengths. I originally wanted nothing more than five minutes each for mine. The slugs got the upper hand though and I let them slide a little longer.

            Still raining here.
