Night In The Woods

There is much
I cannot see
Awake night
Trees watching
Stars mists
Images free
Beyond human senses
Movement presence
Felt as soft flutters
Wings in the air
The touch of Angels
The kisses of fairies
All seems still
And silent
Filter Night
Only shadows
Tiny songs

A Flash Of Color Before Dark

.Color at the end of a colorless day  …. already there is a coating of green pollen on the windows, car windshield, and other surfaces  such as water in the bird bath. Also my sinuses. Ahhh–chooo.  ‘Scuse me.  Some of the trees have new growth and the beginnings of Spring color.

The color, though welcome, is deceptive, as is the pollen.  Usually February is the coldest month, with the most illness and intractable depression.  It is a difficult month for elders and small children and those without adequate means to care for themselves.  Please watch out for each other.

Angel’s Tears

Whose song shall I sing
When the voices of trees
Loose language?
Shall there be a song
Of wild winds howling through
Dead branches and empty sky?

May I sing of star memories,
Those eons of lonesome brightness,
Uncountable in their vastness?

Are there ballads recounting
Tales when there was nothing,
Before the birth of time?

Can I sing about tomorrow
Before our own wane sun rises
Coldly burning away all hope?
Will you allow that I
May sing a lullaby of nonsense,
To sooth our sleepless dreams?
Oh My Love, I foolishly cry
My song through my unspoken words.
Who listens to hear silent music?
The chorused pain of Angels sings,
In roaring silence, resonance
Periods too long for corporal ears.
But I do see in the darkness,
Sparkling and dazzling rainbows
Of whirling Angel’s tears.

Crows In A Tree + One Craney Crow On the Ground + Some Flowers That Maddie Likes To Eat + Yellow Petals

Craney Crows is the genus Uncle Remus assigned Herons and Egrets.

My batteries went dead as the Craney Crow flew into sight on her magnificent wings. The crows all swirled around, then settled again, all of the birds politely waited while I changed batteries.

I saw the crows flying around while at the gas pumps, so as soon as the gas tank was full I moved out of the way and went behind the gas station to see what I could see.  I saw a small holding pond. I saw a few moss covered trees full of crows and a flock of different lighter colored birds that started to settle, but were encourage to move on, tree service being strictly first come first serve.  I saw a few buzzards migrating.  There was a Masonic Lodge with a barren yard surrounded  by chain link fence.  Then the Great White Heron came flying into my vision.  I lifted my camera, the flying bird, the blue sky, the sun behind me ,,,, and beep beep beep batteries low beep beep beep and the camera turned itself off. .
