Angel’s Tears

.
.
Whose song shall I sing
When the voices of trees
Loose language?
.
Shall there be a song
Of wild winds howling through
Dead branches and empty sky?

May I sing of star memories,
Those eons of lonesome brightness,
Uncountable in their vastness?

Are there ballads recounting
Tales when there was nothing,
Before the birth of time?

Can I sing about tomorrow
Before our own wane sun rises
Coldly burning away all hope?
.
Will you allow that I
May sing a lullaby of nonsense,
To sooth our sleepless dreams?
.
Oh My Love, I foolishly cry
My song through my unspoken words.
Who listens to hear silent music?
.
The chorused pain of Angels sings,
In roaring silence, resonance
Periods too long for corporal ears.
.
But I do see in the darkness,
Sparkling and dazzling rainbows
Of whirling Angel’s tears.

TRUE

WAITING by Sheila Chandra

Like a desert bloom I sit at your feet
Trolling for a rain drop to fall from your lips
Waiting to be awoken and born by your calling
I’m waiting

The blood red lullaby’s rocking my throat
My whole being trembles in dumb mimicry
To echo and savor every sound that you utter
And I ride the waves of each deathly breath

Like a desert bloom I sit at your feet
And I ride the waves of each deathly breath
Waiting to be woken and born by your calling
I’m waiting…

EVER SO LONELY — Sheila Chandra

Sheila Chandra – Ever So Lonely

Ever so lonely
Ever so lonely without you
Ever so lonely

Sink into your eyes and all I see
Love is an ocean
And you for me

Sink into your eyes
Your eyes
Are all I see
Your love is an ocean

An ocean refuses no river
Ever so lonely
An ocean refuses no river

Waiting for the time when we can be alone together
Alone together
Eternally

The ocean, the ocean
Refuses no river

The ocean, your ocean
Refuses no river

Ever so lonely
Ever so lonely without you

Your ocean
Your ocean
Refuses no river
