Is It The Swamp Monster?

Not even an alligator disturbs

The water’s surface like  dancing bugs.

Snakes trail a V shaped smooth wake.

Sometimes fish might disturb the surface …

When feeding on the bugs that are stirring it up.

Churning ripples are water bugs swimming around.

The trees have leafed out since I took this photo over two weeks ago, and there has been more rain so that the water is higher.  It is also one degree above freezing.  Again.
