Quick Time Fish Dance

.
.
In the place were my heart should be
There are fish with teeth biting me
They flip and flop and twist and turn
Squeezing thick blood with an acid hot burn
.
The pain I hide still makes me tired
The Vegas message seems lost or mired
Impulse wandering along the meandering road
With athletic tone disguising rhythm slowed
.
In response talking drums boom out
Quick time beats their message shout
Dancing whales and fish in a salt blood sea
Swimming the tide rolling inside of me
.
The transcending race helps to keeps the beat
Choreographed for my flying fast Mercury feet
Yet, in the place were my heart should be
There are fish with teeth and they are biting me
