Just After Sunrise

These photos were taken of the morning light, just after sunrise on the east side of the St. Mary’s River, which flows north, here. The river also forms the border between Florida and Georgia, but the river is behind me. I wanted to capture the quickly changing light through the trees.

Storms Over Florida

____________________________________________________________

The photo, below,  was taken from Dear Son III’s  front porch in Yulee, Florida.  You can imagine the unusual weather that created these strange columns.

Pensacola, Florida had over  two feet of rain in twenty four hours, April 30.   That is the most rain fall ever recorded in the Panhandle.  Ever.  Dear Son I and his wife live and work there.
