Poisoned Harvest

.
.
I wake to my fears,
As lonesome as I dreamed,
Hair wet with hopeless tears
The tomorrows we dreamed,
Are lost in bygone years.
.
I cry, grieving, in my sleep
I cry for the secret sorrows
That we all sadly keep,
I weep for children’s unknown sorrows,
And the poisoned harvest they must reap.

Monsanto’s Roundup Herbicide – GLYPHOSATE

GLYPHOSATE

Monsanto’s Roundup Herbicide—Featuring the Darth Vader Chemical

Published on May 10, 2013

It was “supposed” to be harmless to humans and animals—the perfect weed killer. Now a groundbreaking article just published in the journal Entropy points to Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, and more specifically its active ingredient glyphosate, as devastating—possibly “the most important factor in the development of multiple chronic diseases and conditions that have become prevalent in Westernized societies.”
That’s right. The herbicide sprayed on most of the world’s genetically engineered crops—and which gets soaked into the food portion—is now linked to “autism … gastrointestinal issues such as inflammatory bowel disease, chronic diarrhea, colitis and Crohn’s disease, obesity, cardiovascular disease, depression, cancer, cachexia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and ALS, among others.”
Enjoy this videotaped guided tour of Jeffrey Smith interviewing co-author Stephanie Seneff, PhD, a Senior Research Scientist at MIT.

Canadian farmer: “Coexistence is not possible.”

Paper to Use

The Canadian farmer Percy Schmeiser was sued by the agricultural company Monsanto for illegaly using genetically manipulated rapeseed. Schmeiser fights back by claiming that pollen of bordering fields contaminated his fields.

foodwatch: Since when do Canadian farmers grow genetically manipulated seed and how popular is it?

Schmeiser: The regulatory approval was given for the introduction of genetically manipulated organisms (GMOs) in Canada in 1996. There were two crops: Canola (rapeseed) and soybeans. In the United States at the same time there was corn (maize) and cotton. In Canada now there is no pure rapeseed left. It is all now contaminated with GMOs and the same with soybeans. It’s very difficult to say how many hectares have been actually seeded with GMOs, but as mentioned, the actual production of all rapeseed has some GMOs in it. There is no such thing as co-existence or containment as we have found out.

Would you eat gray salmon?

SLEUTH 4 HEALTH

If your answer is “no, of course I would not eat gray salmon” – then I have bad news for you.  The fanned color wheel above is not paint chips from Sherwin-Williams.  It represents salmon dye colors.  If you’ve ever eaten farmed salmon (95% of Atlantic salmon is farmed) then you have already eaten gray salmon.  It was just wearing a disguise.  Below is information from Honey Colony.

Your Salmon Is Dyed Pink?

Why on earth would companies spend time and money artificially dying our salmon pink? Because the farmed salmon we eat today would be grey without it.

The Salmon Fan above is basically a color wheel for dyed salmon- Canthaxanthin is a pigment used to color the grey farmed salmon.
