ANOTHER LETTER OF WARNING AND GRATITUDE FROM AGAWELA
ANOTHER LETTER OF WARNING AND GRATITUDE FROM AGAWELA
.
I am truly grateful for honesty.
Courage is required to face one’s self, and those whom you carry in your heart, without disguise.
Deceit is the most hurtful of betrayals.
Backstabbing and gossip and innuendo and pseudo-insights fueled by misunderstanding and half-truths can cause permanent harm of unknown magnitude through unknown generations.
Betrayal of confidence and trust can cause irreparable harm of unknown magnitude through unknown generations.
Pretending virtue, pretending to pray, doing the motions of rituals without true good intent can open the way for malignant forces and malicious entities to become part of your sphere. This can be a damaging influence, not only on your own life, but on those for whom you truly care —- If you are capable of love, what can cause more grief than to harm the innocents whom you truly care for? False intent can manifest as illness, physical damage in an accident of seemingly unknown cause, or shame, grief, and pain in the heart of the innocent one. Not knowing the why of how they feel, they can become self destructive. Please be of true good intent in all of your actions. If you say you are praying, if you are acting out the outward motions … do PRAY.
I am grateful for those who are whole with themselves and honest with the universe.
I am grateful, also, for the harsh lessons learned through painfully resolved deceit, knowing that some things will never be comfortably resolved. I know that ongoing deceit causes wounds which cannot heal, with unknown repercussions generating sadness as an essence. I also know that deceit can be resolved with honestly facing the deceit and its causes, this also causes wounds, but these wounds, though scarring, can heal.
Thank you for all that you have done.
Thank you. I thank you all.

LETTER OF WARNING AND GRATITUDE FROM AGAWELA
LETTER OF WARNING AND GRATITUDE FROM AGAWELA
Dear Ones,
I am told that some Indigenous medicine people think we, as a whole, are not in Tribulation. We are in a period of Transition.
______________________________________________________________________________
I have found that change itself is not painful, it is the resistance to change that causes conflict. Especially if those others do not understand what is necessary and are fighting conscious evolution.
Doing without a bad habit is not what is painful, it is the clinging, even addiction, to the bad habit that hurts. Individuals, groups, even masses can be addicted to bad ideas and behaviors. Aggression is a bad behavior habit. The larger the portion of humanity who cling to the nasty old habits, the more difficult achieving global peace can, and will be.
______________________________________________________________________________
However, there are many, including Elders who have suffered greatly in this life and have gazed into the Face of Evil, offer the hope that the basic goodness of humans will tip humanity towards an altruistic future.
______________________________________________________________________________
It is the thought of myself, Agawela, that prophecies are merely warnings, not laws, about what most probably will come to be IF change is not expediently begun, enacted, and carried out.
Prophesies do not always reveal what change is required. That is part of the difficulty of clinging to old bad habits. All addictions, including wrong thinking, conceal TRUTH and the WAY TO PEACE.
______________________________________________________________________________
If those whose desires are stronger towards their addiction for WAR dominate, then I, Agawela, say Tribulation and Apocalypse are the same.
______________________________________________________________________________
Human disasters, that we make ourselves, can be averted, if the causes are dealt with in a timely manner. Those causes are not hidden.
______________________________________________________________________________
______________________________________________________________________________
I humbly thank those who are doing, and have done, what they can to preserve, protect, and generate goodness in this world.
I thank, also, those of you who hold the heroes of this world in your hearts.
It is your love, true and from the heart that creates balance against the ugliness. Without your love there would be no hope at all.
Thank you. I thank you all.

MYSTERY OF THE NINE EIGHTHS PIE
.
.
Yesterday, I made a pie.
I cut the pie into quarters, intending for Roy to get one half and Corky to get one half.
When cleaning up, later in the evening, I looked at the pie. There were one quarter and one eighth slices left.
They each said they did NOT make any additional cuts or slices to the pie. Roy told me he had eaten least half.
Corky told me he ate one quarter.
How can that be?
In the morning, Corky ate all that was left.
I am pretty sure I made a pie with only four quarters, not a pie with nine eighths.

Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee
2hrs. 06min. 35sec.
“The plot, which is based on events covered by several chapters of Brown’s book as well as other sources, revolves around four main characters: Charles Eastman né Ohiyesa (Adam Beach), a young, mixed-race Sioux doctor educated at Dartmouth and Boston University, who is held up as proof of the success of assimilation; Sitting Bull (August Schellenberg), the Sioux chief who refuses to submit to U.S. government policies designed to strip his people of their identity, their dignity and their sacred land, the gold-laden Black Hills of the Dakotas; U.S. Senator Henry L. Dawes (Aidan Quinn), an architect of government policy for allotment of Indian lands to individual households to force adoption of subsistence farming; and Red Cloud, whose decision to make peace with the American government and go to a reservation disturbed Sitting Bull.
“While Eastman and his future wife Elaine Goodale (Paquin), a reformer from New England and Superintendent of Indian Schools in the Dakotas, work to improve life for Indians on the reservation, Senator Dawes lobbies President Ulysses S. Grant (Thompson) for more humane treatment of the Indians. He opposes the adversarial stance of General William Tecumseh Sherman (Feore). The Dawes Commission (held from 1893 to 1914)[1] develops a proposal to break up the Great Sioux Reservation to allow for American demands for land while preserving enough land for the Sioux to live on. The Commission’s plan is held up by Sitting Bull’s opposition. He has risen to leadership among the Sioux as one of the last chiefs to fight for their independence. Dawes, in turn, urges Eastman to help him convince the recalcitrant tribal leaders. After witnessing conditions on the Sioux reservation, Eastman refuses.
“The prophet Wovoka (Studi) raised Western Indian hopes with his spiritual movement based on a revival of religious practice and the ritual Ghost Dance; it was a messianic movement that promised an end of their suffering under the white man. The assassination of Sitting Bull and the massacre of nearly 200 Indian men, women and children by the 7th Cavalry at Wounded Knee Creek on December 29, 1890 ended such hopes.
“Henry L. Dawes’ wanted to increase the cultural assimilation of Native Americans into American society by his Dawes Act (1887) and his later efforts as head of the Dawes Commission. During the 47 years of implementing the Act, Native Americans lost about 90 million acres (360,000 km²) of treaty land, or about two-thirds of their 1887 land base. About 90,000 Indians were made landless. The Implementation of the Dawes Act disrupted Native American tribes’ communal life, culture, and unity”

STOP
JUST STOP
Poisoned Harvest
.
.
I wake to my fears,
As lonesome as I dreamed,
Hair wet with hopeless tears
The tomorrows we dreamed,
Are lost in bygone years.
.
I cry, grieving, in my sleep
I cry for the secret sorrows
That we all sadly keep,
I weep for children’s unknown sorrows,
And the poisoned harvest they must reap.
