Silent

Not all deserts are wastelands.  
Not all deserts are dry.  
Not all deserts are visible. 
Not all bird songs can be heard.  
Not all humans sing to be heard. 
And yet, here we are , 
The birds, and I,
Singing in the desert, 
Invisible and silent.
