Offering

.
.
Through
The darkness
I whirl
On and on
Beyond
Caring
Beyond
Your dream
Beyond
Fatigue
Beyond death
Beyond
The Sun’s
Scream
I dance
Our duet
Alone
The lonesome
Wailing
Violin
Calls me
Faster
And faster
Long after
The stars
Have fallen
Into dust
Forever
I whirl
One hand
Raised
Gathering
Words
Unknown
One hand
Dispensing
Glory
Blessings
A conduit
For Mystery
I dance
And I dance
Beyond music
Courage
Comes shrill
Through
Bird bones
Beyond myself
Beyond
The almost
That was
A life
That was us
I am
Whirling
As a spiral
A gyre
That is
My offering
And my heart
Beats
And beats
My love
Carried
As a gift
By the drum
To the
Source of
Light
And I dance
Whirling
Beyond
All
That is
Beyond
Myself
I am a
Being of
No hope
The drum
Calls me
Home

  1. Wow, Bear. It is wonderful right up until the line “no hope.” There’s always hope, isn’t there, dear Bear? Even when so many of our hopes and dreams fall and fail, and even if it’s only a tiny, tiny flame???
Please say “yes”! Love and hugs, N 🙂 ❤

    • There is a place that is beyond the need for hope. It is hope and no hope and all else, as well. When you are there, you need nothing, for all is nothing and nothing is all, it is the answer of hope is to have no need for hope. ❤

      • Guess I’m not there yet Bear! I still have to have hope! 😊😘

        • Well then there is certainly much hope. ❤ I just do, not because I have hope, but because I can. When I cannot, I do something else, sometimes that something else is Not Doing. Not doing is also an activity. Sometimes I am doing things that other people can recognize, accomplishing tasks, but the true underlying activity is waiting. I am not hopeful, nor am I hopeless. I just am.<3 Thank you Sweet Natalie, Brightest blessings. I send prayers on blue smoke asking, in your behalf, for an absence of headaches, noticeable only by the painless beauty of bright light and the glory of laughter and the music of nature.
