Endless Childhood Summer

It is so very pleasant
To loll in the shade and rest
Watching dappled shadows
And sun progress
Comfortable in summer’s warmth
The birds the trees
Bright sunsets
And then humid darkness
Dozing away troubles with
Little dreams of no importance
Awakening to stars
And faerie lights
Yawns and lovely stretches
Will the dew awaken
A sweet new day
Of endless childhood summer

There you are!!! I’ve been looking for you. I’m mad at those ancients for stealing you away for so long!
