BUMP ONNA LOG: It’s OK. There is nothing to feel bad about. I don’t care that you have this neuro-whatever thing, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of me doing what I like to do, or me going on the trips that I enjoy.
BEAR: So it doesn’t bother you that I have an incurable degenerative disorder that has been causing me pain, agony, anguish, suffering and grief for many years, will continue to do so, and this diagnosis confirms it will only get worse?
BUMP ONNA LOG: Why should it bother me?

I think the only appropriate comment to a post such as that is this:
That was mighty decent of him, I must say. You’re d#mned lucky to have him. Most men would care A LOT about their woman with a degenerative illness.
😉
You see? It’s just like they say: Never a door closed but a window opened: Now you found out just how blessed you are in that man. I’m tearing up just thinking about it.
🙄 😥 🙄

Your sympathy warms my heart. Thank you. Thank you, very much.
But, maybe the disclaimer should be here, for just in case: Disclaimer https://bearspawprint.wordpress.com/disclaimer-and-copyright/

You are a very good person and friend. Or a creative liar. (I’m guessing both.) Either way, I like you. Now, I’m off (or soon). Except for listening to some of your interesting music here. LOVED the Hedningarna.
Thanks for the fun conversation and the good reads. Have a good whatever-part-of-the-clock-it-is, Bear : )

Yikes!! “..or a creative liar.” That has never been suggested (to me) before. It stings!! But I guess my disclaimer declares that fiction is a possibility, and I suppose fiction can be thought of as lies. Though I like to think of fiction as a vehicle to carry underlying truths.
Hedningarna is Finnish/Swedish. I don’t think they have any lesser recordings … all are good. https://youtu.be/xPGC2EYNoXY

The creative lying was referring to the possibility not that you are telling fictional tales, but that telling them on behalf of a friend rather than yourself was the fiction.

I must add that living with a man for (I say 30 but) 26 years and going through a 3-year divorce with him, living with him for most of those, still discovering even afterward the extent of the lying he did the entire relationship…it changes one, I think, permanently. No one suspected him. President of school board, elder of church, stole $ from the church. Like that. The bad seed type.

You are the kind one. Look how you felt I had insulted you–truly–but still provided me the links to the wonderful additional music. Thank you!

Just found you in the spam folder, unspammed you. This is an actual quote, but rather an old one, 1997. I did not get permission to use it. Hahahaha! I wonder if Bump Onna Log would like himself identified?

Well, who knows? They may actually be proud of what they said?

Yes, that may be. 😉 Perhaps it was said so that the afflicted would be aware of just how far it was possible to go without crossing the acceptable boundaries.

I like the loud clap, too. Very good response to a multitude of situations. I have another adult scatological joke with sound effects which I like to tell, also. But I can’t seem to make the onomatopoeia work to write it down. Hahahaha! I’ve tried … it cheers me up thinking of the translation difficulties. Hahahaha!!

Had to change  to “loud clap”. “Clap” is slang for something else.
