Grandmother’s Dawn

.
.
Twining tendrils emerge from
Ancient memory gnarled roots
Calling dawn cycles from yesterday
.
Soft pearling light brightens
Drifting behind her attention
To the West old comfort lingers
.
Grandmother’s feet sink deeply
Into vernal softened earth
Gravity whispers please stay
