According to Hopi Dictionary: Hopìikwa Lavàytutuveni, the Hopi word koyaanisqatsi (Hopi pronunciation: [kojɑːnisˈkɑtsi])[22] is defined as “life of moral corruption and turmoil” or “life out of BALANCE”.
