You cannot
See me
through
Your eyes
That shift
And turn
Away
Stuck
Inside
Your own
Skull
When you
Search
For love
You find
Crossed
Bones
Your own
Memory
Broken
Shards
In vinegar

I like that it ends on vinegar, both the bitterness and the image of pickling the past.

I have heard that ethanol pickles memories, but you don’t get to choose which ones 😀
However, vinegar dissolves calcium.
What I love about poetry is so much about the reader is revealed with how things are subjectively understood. You are so very good. A truly GOOD hearted person. It comes through in all that you write and all of your comments and replies. I am so very pleased to have encountered you in the strange cyber world.
תודה לך על כל מה שיש לך לעשות.

You words are lovely, and I appreciate you. I didn’t know vinegar dissolved calcium, but it makes sense for an acid to do that. I don’t think alcohol improves things, it’s more like selling your soul to the devil. It leads you down a dark path, extracts a heavy price and enacts its revenge before the end. I prefer the vinegar. I’m pleased we met, too, Bear. I hope you find the video for pink’s song. It’s shocking and funny and thought-provoking and exciting.
