Yes it does rain a lot. The soils here are are mosrtly very sandy and acidic. Water drains away quickly, if there is not enough replenishing rain we have forest fires. If fire gets into the peat, in swamps, it can burn for years. Many of the indigenous plants and animals are adapted to intermittent floods and droughts.

Here it has been snowing some. It really rains a lot where you live.

Nature is magnificent. As for tea, I am happy when it has no added flavours, colours, spices or perfumes. Do you drink tea?
