The leading edge of the Arctic cold front felt almost tropical as it created an inversion with the wind blowing a cloud cover over the warm air, trapping it close to the ground. These conditions sometimes generate tornadoes. The next day most of the cloud cover had been blown out sea, along with the lightening rain. Without all of the moisture and reflective clouds the heat dissipated quickly as the cold dropped down into the, now still, lower altitudes. Last night there was a hard freeze. The sky was beautifully clear in the early morning, without the moon and usual moisture to dim the stars.

😀 You first comment was about editing, rather than weather. Sorry that I am so slow. Thank you for the polite correction 😀
