MAY DAY  .  MAY DAY  .  MAY DAY
“It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency primarily by mariners and aviators, but in some countries local organisations such as police forces, firefighters, and transportation organizations also use the term. The call is always given three times in a row (“Mayday Mayday Mayday”) to prevent mistaking it for some similar-sounding phrase under noisy conditions, and to distinguish an actual Mayday call from a message about a Mayday call.”

  2. Hola Bear! I love your selections.
Am having issues trying to get working links. Am not ignoring anyone or being rude. Just can’t get the urls to work yet. Copying leads to “Ooops” pages. I have no idea why yet.

    • I am sorry you are having this trouble. For the widget trouble I was having, I figured out what the code problem was … it is Google’s You Tube codes. 🙂 Have to modify them a bit to fit the widget requirements…. but now that I figured out just which sections were wrong, that works O.K. For a while, it was the telekinetic mouse. 🙂

I hope your problem get solved soon without having to spend too much mullah.

      • May Day indeed.—I’m so glad you did the May Day distress signal angle. I love the People In Planes selection–including the image. Omnia–big grin.
I’m not quite sure what’s up with my links issues yet. Somethings work and others don’t. I don’t think this requires mullah to fix. When people leave their links those works fine from my blogcasa. Which is a very good thing. It’s just the links I attempt to create that have been problematic.
I’m going to try copying and pasting your set of links again and see what happens. One way or another something will come out in the wash.

As for the next round– “In the sprng time, the only pretty ring time.” As in every thing Spring.

Almost every country country has May Day traditions…. Sheesh!!

Some have political or ideological traditions. And there some calls for a general strike by Anonymous and then there is the Internationale, I thought about using the recording by the Red Army Choir….. at lest it didn’t have a picture of Lenin 🙂

I habven’t heard from Eva, even by email ???? or “likes” or snail mail.

That’s interesting, about the strikes. May Day seems to have been given different meanings and ‘uses’.

Over here the season is generally either hot or not as hot, so I think May Day is probably more accurate. It’s already getting hot and muggy. I like it though; everything grows like crazy.
