IV. GOD SMILED

.
.
I’m still working
Writing searching
Filling blank paper
With trying trying
Describing
What I was blessed
To be allowed to see
Was an actual
Phenomena
That I had never
Imagined
Could actually exist
On this plane thus
Far the best description
Of what happened
.
GOD SMILED
.
There is no reason why
No virtues or extra understanding
No sacrifice fasting or religion
No activated brain cells
Or second sight insights
No extra care or love
No reasonable reasons at all as to
Why it should have been me
Allowed to view
That fleeting
Glory Wonder Be
.
There are no similes no
Synonyms or nouns
No adjectives or adverbs
Though words and meanings abound
I’ve studied and I’ve sought
Reason as to how
How it could ever be
Oh Yes it is truly possible
Once in while
We are blessed to see
In this Earthly home we share
What our hearts already know
There is much more
Beyond the awesome of mere beauty
.
I feel it is my duty to
Stretch myself and grow
Do I really really dare?
I am most unworthy and
The cosmos doesn’t care
But I am humbly grateful
.
An angel touched and warned me
So I was cued to be
Watchful and waiting
Though I wasn’t conscious
Of what I had been told
When I tried to tell the story
The Angels voice came first
It was a strange encounter
This Angel carried a gun

  2. Listening to Luka Sulic’s cello setting the stage for the angel with a gun.

That phrase reminds me of a scene from Deadfall:

    • Whoah! Haven’t seen this movie.

Wonder if his jacket was made in Bangladesh?

      I don’t think we have normal associations …. 🙂 🙂

      • Normal? Ha! Or maybe moreso than we realize?

        I haven’t a clue about his jacket–sorry.

But—this is a complex, intelligent, and very compelling film which is about much more than what a plot description might lead one to think.

I will not say more, unless you ask, because such might be construed as spoilers in case you’re interested enough to view the film. It’s one of the few films that I have watched again immediately after the first time. That’s one of the upsides of dvds.

        • Thanks for recommend.

I mentioned jacket ’cause I liked (minus the stitching on the back), then remembered about the India raised tormented cattle hauled off to Bangladesh to become leather ….

          lotsa upsides to DVDs

How can one ignore an angel’s warning? This is so exciting. Because in spite of the self-doubt and the wishes of those who want us to fade into the background, we have to accept the call to be watchful and waiting. I am so thankful for that angel of mystery and beauty. I, too, am watchful. 🙂

    • When you spoke of messengers I was delighted because there is always a messenger, only we don’t always recognize them until later.

When I got home, and I had, finally, the opportunity to try to tell my son (my husband went to bed) about part of what I experienced the first that I spoke of was the Police woman. Roy recognized her from my physical description, only he said she is always standing in in a corner or near the door glowering and frowning at everyone….. He then shared some stories of his own, and I didn’t get to try to tell about the actual phenomena until later. She became a connection, a messenger between my youngest son and myself, also…. somehow I think you understand the dynamics, Watchful Friend

I love, too, how messengers are often transformed when it is time for the message to be delivered. In other words, the message doesn’t just transform the life of the receiver. The connection that her message brought about between you and your son is one more example of how far-reaching such messages are. Thankfully, there are those among us who are watchful enough to be open to such messages, and those who are willing to be messengers. I can feel the energy and mysticism of your experience half-way around the world.
