II. GOD SMILED

.
IF YOU IMAGINE THAT….
.
GOD SMILED
.
AND YOU, OH YES YOU! SAW
WHAT WOULD GLORY LOOK LIKE
WOULD THERE BE COLOR
SOFT ARCHING RAINBOWS
FLOWING CLOUDS WATERFALLS
MOUNTAINS AND MEADOWS
WOULD THERE BE THE VELVET DARK OF PEACE
OR A RETINA BURNING STAR
PERHAPS A RAY BURST OF LIGHT
WOULD YOU LOOSE YOUR SIGHT
WOULD THERE BE MUSIC
OR SOOTHING SILENCE
WOULD THERE BE A SYMPHONY
OF BIRDS AND INSECT HUMS
THE SONG OF WHALES
AN OCEANS ROAR
WOULD THERE BE WINGED ANGELS
FLYING DANCE AND EAGLES
UPDRAFT FLOATING
WOULD THERE BE REQUIRED
FASTING AND PRAYERS
DRUGS OR HEBS OR
CHANTING AND TORTURE
PERHAPS TRANSCENDENT MEDITATION
SELF ABNIGATION CRYING
FALLING ON YOUR KNEES
WOULD YOU NEED A TELESCOPE
OR SPACESHIP ELECTRON MISCROSCOPE
OR INNER IMAGINATION
.
WHAT DO YOU FEEL
WHAT DO YOU THINK
WHAT IS THE REALLY REAL
.
PLEASE
I ASK YOU TO TELL ME …
HAVE YOU SEEN GOD SMILE?
.

A wonderful poem Bear. Glory is when I see that it is all inevitable. That the good and the bad are interchangeable at times, like magic. And then my body warms. 🙂

I am so delighted to read about your experience of this miracle. To me, the most amazing thing about miracles is they often happen when we least expect them. For me, there have been many examples, but the most organic ones are those in which a person crosses my path and brings the answer to a prayer–a messenger who touches us and is often gone. I have witnessed it so often in my life, that I can only hope that I may have been such an instrument to someone else as well. 🙂

    • Oh Yes!!! XXX 🙂 Those are some of the very best of unexplainable miracles. They warm for the rest of your lives, and radiate a feeling of grace forever. As if you’d been touched by an Angel. Or maybe you have. 🙂 I imagine you KNOW you have been in a position to answer the prayers of others, now and again… and thereby answered your own. 🙂

Yes, I’ve seen God smile–and His miracles from time to time; it’s mostly indescribable for me–kind of like everything stops, or at least slows down, or maybe that illusion about time is just happening within me. Anyway, it’s most reassuring. I’m overjoyed that you were blessed to see a miracle on Wednesday–that is truly wonderful!

    • Thank you for your courage in reply. The phenomena of time alteration is not an illusion.

Indescribable … yes. That is why I am calling what I saw/experienced the miracle of God’s Smile.

      Hugs

I love that you would describe it as His smile–so many sad souls still view him as eternally stern and angry–but He loves us all so much.

I try to do it quietly–I am learning so much about His Grace in the last 3 years. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Joseph Prince, but he preaches a “Grace Revolution”–the grace of the Gospel of Christ which truly transforms lives. It’s hard not to be enthusiastic–Prince is a dynamic teacher, really lifts my soul with the message God has given him.

          • Grace is another of those beautiful words. I have a niece and grand-niece named Grace.

Again, thank you for witnessing. No I am not familiar with Joseph Prince. I’m glad he lift’s your soul.

Please accept that I am on a slightly different Path. Namaste

I meant no offense, sorry if it was unwittingly communicated.

          • I am not offended, but I was concerned that you might be worried about my soul, so I wanted to let you know that though we all end up, eventually, in the same place, I am taking a slightly different route to get there. Please don’t feel bad that I don’t want to read about the GRACE REVOLUION. May the Countenance of the Lord be before you to shine upon your path and give you peace. Bear
