Medicine Buddha Mantra chanted by Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

Lama Zopa Rimpoche
“Due to all the past, present, future merits collected by myself, all buddhas and bodhisattvas, and all sentient beings, may anybody who hears this mantra, … and whomever this mantra is played for, may all that person’s sickness get immediately healed, and may they be free from spirit harms and be purified of all the negative karma and find … and actualize compassion and bodhichitta in that very lifetime, …. May they achieve enlightenment,….”

Samsara is a Sanskrit word that means “the ever turning wheel of life” and is the point of departure for the filmmakers as they search for the elusive current of interconnection that runs through our lives.

    • Thank you for the reblog. Out subject/theme/musical exploration for March 7 is THE WILD if you would like to participate, just make a collection of video clips, artwork, poetry, essays, or whatever seems to fit, but mostly music 🙂 related to the chosen line of inquiry and drop a note to the participants ( there are links at the bottom of this blog post) and we will include you in the list of links. Eva, who is also a Reiki practitioner, made this week’s choice of Music as Medicine. That’s why I thought it would be of particular interest to you:-) also some of the music choices 🙂 The particular Coyote Oldman selection is used fairly often in Reiki, for example. and Joanne Shenandoah is Mohegan. 5. An ever expanding line of inquiry– I love that phrase, Bear. LOL. Yep, there are many ways to go with this topic. I hope you enjoyed it in spite of your frustrations. I took a more introductory approach. The choices for music are endless depending on one’s inclinations.
Coyote Oldman’s Under An Ancient Sky gets me all shivery alert like an antelope grazing and on the look out.
My computer is moving slower than a well fed snail today, but I’ve finally managed to post and get here.
Oh I like your new icon image. Very jaunty hat indeed.

    • That particular Coyots Oldman piece is (often?) used in Reike. No wonder it evoked a response in you. 🙂 I’m thinking you have Reike covered on your blog. ??? 🙂 ¡Buenos días Eva, mi amiga!

      • Buenos dias, mi amiga, Mato. Actually I am thinking of extending this post into my sidebar with some reiki music. IF I can spur the machine into action. 🙂 Hmm, I wonder iif some electro-shock therapy is in order for the pc? Mayhap.
Interesting choice of the Holy Ghost People documentary…going to have to set aside some time for exploring that one.
        For the moment….

        • “…Mato…” = ????

🙂 Lotta solar weather yesterday, today. Perhaps there is geo-magnetic interference. Does odd things with satellite communications.

I wanted to represent many more traditions …. Oh well. Most are not represented in any sort of reasonable manner in public media. Even the older Pentecostal docu. is not well done, and the newer ones are quite poor. Anyway, I’m gonna go see what you were able to assemble … 🙂 🙂

I’m not so much frustrated, as, well, made aware that prejudice and fear and radically different ideologies (China/Tibet) are destroying old, useful, and tried and true ways of doing things.

Thank you for all that you have done.

        • What does “MATO” mean to you?

          • Mato is the Lakota word for “bear”. 🙂

It is a tragedy that so much of what was known is “lost” and disregarded by others who think they know better. Very frustrating indeed.

I do like your range of selections. You took a different approach than I did–which makes this very complimentary together.

            It’s all good. 🙂

Could be interference–or just the ghosts in this machine. Patience….

          • En español significa “Mato” = killed or:
kill slay murder shoot slaughter butcher destroy
swat cut down homicide knock off do in carry off
            Kinda different than Lakota. Yikes!!!

            Thank you.
