CRITICALLY CONFUSING CRYPTICS

Hi Bear! Thanks for the notice. I’m in the middle of a three week intensive program with 20 exchange students from Japan. During this time, I’m teaching 30 extra hours (of writing) to these students in addition to my regular teaching load. So, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to work on yesterday’s theme. My guess is I won’t have time for this one either. But I hope to join back in for the 13th. Thanks 🙂

It means: Thank you for all that you have done. If you sign this in the closing of personal memos to adult (women) they will be (privately) most impressed. Use English. It is one of those ritual courtesies like token gift exchanges, except that only a few classes (sensei, samuri, etc) do it anymore. Always use two hands to accept a gift or offer one. Don’t “re-gift” anything. It is done, but frowned on and is thought to be done only by lesser persons. A smaller something, like a flower without flaws or a piece of fruit with no blemishes or a nice pastry is preferable to gee-gaws. 🙂 Thank you for all that you have done. Bear

The nature of illusion — Maya, does not remove the reality of reality. That it is recognized as Maya does not change anything. But even that is illusion … incomplete. 🙂

Interesting discussion. If “you or I” experience that state of non-duality, exquisite state of unity consciousness, then it stands to reason that everything is a projection/ manifestation of that singular state of existence. At that point of singularity, all words and thought lose it’s relative meaning. Language is based upon thought and polarity of this particular reality that we can perceive with our six senses, (the mind being the sixth sense). We can surmise that “Maya” is a natural part of the physical construct of this universal dimension. We we know our “reality” to be an “illusion/ projection” of the ONE, then everything is as it should be, we may proceed with our “Lila” or divine play. The journey has been…., has it not?
