THE NEXT DAY, I TOOK THESE PHOTOS, JANUARY 6, 2014, IN NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA AS AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT MOVED IN. THE TEMPERATURE DROPPED ALMOST 50 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT IN JUST A FEW HOURS. THERE WAS A HARD FREEZE IN THE LOW TEENS THAT NIGHT …. AS I FLEW NORTH, IN MORNING OF THE 7TH, THE TEMPERATURES BECAME WARMER.

A few hours, often. when I was hiking in the Guadeloupe Mts. in Texas there was a similar weather change … in September. 60 F drop in 3 hours. Happened in July in Oregon. August, the Yukon ….. etc. I think weather in North America has always been changeable. For example your Christmases. 🙂

True! Hence the expression, if you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes. 🙂 But what I was commenting on was how well you captured the change in the photos. I love the dramatic contrast. 🙂
