I am removed from self
Removed from heart
Removed from this world

Empty void once self
Empty void heart
Empty void this world

Nothingness all self
Nothingness all heart
Nothingness all this world

Perception is not the self
Perception is not heart
Perception is not this world

Eternally removed from self
This empty void is heart
Nothingness all this world
Perception of the empty void nothing

So sad Bear are you okay. I care I am very wary of nothingness. xxxxx

The poem’s final arrival left me alienated from impulse in a cynical detachment from the messiness of life. Shelley suffered the same.

    • Do you suffer so?

Nothingness does include the cycles of suffering but also the not suffering. The empty aspect of “cynical” is quite hopeful as it is inclusive of nothing. πŸ™‚ Being removed from pain and suffering is quite lovely. Pain, suffering and whatnot are always about, even for the enlightened

The reference to Shelley warms me.

40 odd years ago I knew a family named Keim. In Tallahassee. The elders would be about 90, now. πŸ™‚
