That Scorpio birthday Quilt is still not done. And it is almost Christmas. And a group of Capricorns and Aquarius birthdays are coming up. Aii yi yi. Two Daughters-in-law, Granddaughter(turning 13), Very Dear Step-mother, adult Step-daughter. And that is just immediate family, and I know I’m forgetting someone, and I need to check my “Birthday Book”. Â I’m always behind…. Please note that is NOT all behind, but always behind.
OK Deborah, this “not sew much” is for you … sorry about the blurry picture. The photo reflects my state of mind. Blurry.
“I have a ‘Family Quilt’ half done to finish before I am finished and the eyes too dimmed to thread a needle. Perhaps I should photograph the scenes in case I never do. You’ve given me ideas. How to present an Author bio in stitches..maybe even laughing ones.”
Scenes from a life is a very intimate portrait of family and stitchcraft!

A book with photographed scenes and stories might be more appreciated than a quilt that only one person can have, Books can be copied and shared, stored, transported, displayed and cared for much easier than a quilt. If you can do both, that is wonderful, but I like your idea of photographed scenes…..

Hmmm. I’m wondering if I should be flattered to be quoted on this particular subject? 🙂 🙂

Any time someone appreciates my humor, I take it as a compliment. Does it help if I tell you it was intended as one? 😉
