No I believe you are already CRACKED. I suspect you only wish you were a Grinch. (Hey!! spell thingy took the capital C out of GrinCh!!) The thing about trappings and gee-gaws is that so much of it is pretend. And too damned much work. And merely expected, but not appreciated. For Little Ones it is easy to create the magic. For Big ____ is seems to me they should do a little Conjuring of their own. Or do you see it from a different angle over there on the Other Side of the Pond?

It is over played and over priced and no one seems to understand the true meaning of Christmas anymore…. Christ’s Birth not give me give me season, not eat all you can… so many people out in the cold looking in at what does not exist, we should love and give every day not just one day a year! …… sad

It is your theme choice next, after this MORE AND LESS, I was hoping someone would choose an actual Christmas related theme as opposed to only Pagan oriented winter themes…. which I don’t want to leave out either. There are several weeks of Christmas tradition that can be recognized and celebrated, as well as all of the other possibilities. Weeks before and after December 25, depending on where and what tradition. I think we can work real Christmas into almost any theme, anyway, don’t you? If you are the 12th, Eva the 16th, Johnny the 20th, then I will be Christmas Eve. Of course we will all be busy, but a CHRISTMAS EVE draft can be started now, cause, unless everyone chooses 5 days —that will be my theme choice.then the 28th is you, then Jan.1 is Eva, Jan 5 is Johnny, Jan 9 is me, and you could bump it up to the 12th again or 13th, or 14th. when does Orthodox Christmas conclude? And surely there would be some carry -over into home life too? It IS gonna be good this year. Do you have a crèche’? or can you make one? MERRY CHRISTMAS WILLOW. Thank you for witnessing your faith.

A gauge for humor? Is there such a thin’ ? Ha! I am a humorless dour old hermit (should you ask my husband) …. but if you ask the youngest ones, I have been gifted to be able make even hardships fun, and I have been blessed to be able to help the fretting, crying, or fearful children of strangers smile and laugh or be soothed. This gift has been the source of my greatest joys.
So I guess you would have to “gauge” my sense of humor as infantile?? 🙂 Hahahaha! 🙂
