Oath of Office for President of USA
US Constitution, Article II, Section 1
Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Would it not depend on what he impeached for? I have heard it said that if impeached for treason his entire cabinet and the appointments made under his administration could be called into question and reversed. That would be an interesting development to be sure …..

…then why is he doing everything he can to dismantle it?

If he is able to modify the Constitution to his preference, then he will still be keeping his oath, in the literal sense. If you can’t keep, or don’t like, the rules, just change them. Only need to have, in place, the means to enforce the new version, in key venues, first. Maybe have a few test judicial cases run, such as the Montana marijuana growers prosecutions. Just my opinion. When playing with children, we (they and I) make up games with rules. However we always allow ourselves a group executive power of cenensus to change the rules, for fun or challenge. I think that the descruction of the Constitution is not the end goal, merely to turn it into a tool of public manipulation rather than a safe-guard of freedoms.—–Granny Bear

Would the V.P. be a good replacement? Mr. B. puts me in mind of Lyndon Johnson. How did he gain office? What did he provoke?—-Who is stirring the waters, already, internationally and domestically?—— If Mr. O, were impeached, who would be the biggest benificiary, with expanded powers already in place? Who, really, is creating the ugly scenarios? Are there actually answers, anymore? I’m very glad that you posted this oath. It is the basis for all oaths of elected public office. Thank you for all that you have done.——Granny Bear
