Dear Ones
Yesterday this blog was suspended.  Today it is back.  The WordPress folk are geniuses to be able to run this show.  Yes? And write the code to make it work.  The automatic thingy (whatever it is) flagged me as spam.  I was reviewed, and reinstated.

For that little while I had all sorts of thoughts.  CENSORED is one that kept reoccurring.  INSULTED is another. Why was someone so insulted that they complained about ?? I felt OSTRACIZED or SHUNNED, EXCLUDED.

I started using this WordPress blogging opportunity because so much of what is important to our descendants is crucial in a time-limited way.  If not acted on immediately, an irrevocable path will be chosen for us.  Not choosing and not deciding is also a choice.  However, my blood relatives, and good friends either don’t feel the sense of urgency that I do, or don’t use computers (Yes there are such folk in the world!!  We correspond via pen.) Or just plain don’t want to be bothered.  I try to only touch on subjects that are of interest to them when we meet or communicate, by whatever means.  But less than a handful of people I know personally, have “followed” me, here.

Writing and posting here, seemed, at first like shouting into the wind. But then a word here, a sound, there, an idea, something of interest or urgency whirled in an eddy or caught on a living person’s mind and a new sort of relationship swirled into being.  A disembodied symbolic sharing of thoughts and concerns.

I recently read that young people (teens, preteens) who learn to write code have bilingual brains.  Yes, functional MRI have shown a difference in use and even a little in structure of brains of youth who are bilingual.  There is a window of opportunity, but I am not sure when it closes.  For some of us it doesn’t close as tightly as others.  But languages learned in childhood causes our brains to remain more plastic and open to new knowledge and understandings.  American Sign Language, Native American sign Language, other tactile languages, such as Braille, also Binary, other Encryption Codes, as well as the named cultural languages of the world, for some even maths and for all MUSIC and rhythm languages, all have the beneficial opening influence on our minds.  The languages of the animals and the plants expand our awareness and lend plasticity to our brains also.

Brain plasticity helps to overcome or to circumvent brain trauma, either injury or pathology.  If one neural pathway is damaged, another can be utilized.  I have personally worked with living, intelligent, caring people who only had one functioning brain hemisphere.   Others I personally know have had brain injury from strokes and other vascular traumas, or non-understood pathologies such as Multiple Sclerosis, which can resemble vascular damage on MRI, and other invisible (to most observers) neurological disorders.  All are wonderfully creative.  Those alternate neural pathways that are required for survival are also like unexplored beautiful vistas of newness.  a childlike wonder of discovery helps to make the pain and despair, and the losses and the Never Can Be, become bearable.

The cutting off of this (new to me) form of communication was a shock to me.  I have a bit of (healthy in this world, I think) bit of paranoia or sensitivity to and fear of ruffling feathers of monstrous stealth raptors.  I feel that acknowledging such forces in this world, attracts the attention of these forces.  Similar to the way gloating or bragging or taking responsibility for good fortune attracts the attention of the Fates.

Well, it seems that perhaps it is the volume of posts that caught the machine’s attention, rather than the content.  I am grateful to be able to write what I please, and read what I please.  Sometimes just for fun, sometimes because it seems needed.   I am grateful to have the opportunity to encounter the  aware consciousness of beautiful people living in vastly different, and yet, exactly similar lives.

I thank you for all that you have done

Granny

glad you are back, that’s happened to me also. be glad it is on wordpress, if it happens on blogger you are just gone, they don’t care. have to make sure you keep archives updated there.

    • Thank you. WordPress did offer the free archive option, to download my content, which I did. They also suggested several other WordPress options, each with upload of all content options. It was all worded very non-judgementally and carefully. It still left me wondering. I still feel like Bambi’s mother in the Meadow.

i know how you feel, some of the sites they consider spam that we might use as reference. natural health articles are good one to watch out for getting you flagged. best not to put active link.

an fyi they do not offer that option at blogger to export deleted blog. i put a third party widget they did not like and deleted me @ blogger

        • Good to know. Thank you. I hope you did not loose too much content. You compose what you post so carefully that it is not merely information, but art. —– I thought active links were required to avoid plagarism and to prove actual references? As well as to acknowledge the work and love that are shown in the creation of poems and stories and essays and and art (I haven’t figured out how to scan and post drawings and such) and the the gleaning of information as accurately as possible from the happenings and personal experiences on this Earth that we share. I am so glad that I get to read what you post. Thank you. And thank you for not giving up when blogger threw away your work.
